Will Thai "Vaccine Passports" Expire?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing "vaccine passports" yet again. This is something that nearly a year ago we were talking about very much in the hypothetical and people were commenting and sending me messages that "No, this isn't possible. We are probably not going to see this." Now it has come in to sharp focus and we are definitely seeing this coming online.

However, they do not appear to be permanent. I found this rather interesting. This was an article from the Nation, nationthailand.com. The article is titled: "Vaccine Passports" Approved to Cut Quarantine Time in Thailand. Quoting directly: "In Thailand, COVID-19 Vaccination Certificates will be issued for a fee of 100 Baht by hospitals administering second doses of the vaccine from March 21. The certificates can be used for international travel, once the World Health Organization (WHO) has finalized criteria for vaccine passports. The Thai Vaccine Passport Certificate will be valid for one year." So, again this is difficult to say exactly how this is all going to play out. Again the Nation, nationthailand.com, the article is titled: Vaccine Passports Approved to Cut Quarantine Time in Thailand. I just want to quote that one more time: "The Thai Vaccine Passport Certificate will be valid for one year." So I don't know what that means. When it expires, what you do with that document? Do you have to get another one? It remains to be seen exactly what we are going to be looking at with respect to that type of travel documentation.

We will try to keep you updated on this channel as the situation progresses. Again this is all currently fluid and we are just not quite sure exactly what the regulatory structure and all the finer points and details associated with this are going to be. So again, we will keep you updated as the situation evolves.
