As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the Vaccine Passport. We have been discussing this for a while now but it looks like it is coming more into focus. It looks like it is coming online and I decided to go ahead and make this video. 

So what is it going to look like? We are going to go ahead and throw this image up here on screen. As you can see, it says Department of Disease Control Ministry of Public Health Thailand. International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis. This is actually coming from thaivisa.com. This photo I got, we got this from thaivisa.com and this is the article: Thailand's Reopening "Coming Soon" as Anutin Shows “Vaccine Passport”. Quoting directly from that article; they go ahead and say: "The passport is officially titled: International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis and has parts in English to facilitate international travel. Every Thai who has been vaccinated will get one." So that is what we are looking at. Thai nationals who have been vaccinated here in Thailand presumably will get one of these documents. It remains to be seen exactly what the documentation for those who are foreigners will look like. We are trying to suss that out. I have got another video we are making contemporaneously with this one where we discuss that in a little bit further detail. Again, this stuff is pretty vague. 

I kind of think it is interesting; a year ago or maybe nine months ago or so I was talking about this and people were sending me emails where they were saying "that will never happen in Thailand", and I said “well they are talking about it pretty seriously so it looks to me like it could be coming down the pike”, and lo and behold here we are. 

So again, this is what it looks like. We will put that up on screen one more time, but yeah it looks like at least for Thai Nationals this is what the documentation will look like. I would presume it would apply to Permanent Residents as well. It remains to be seen. Again whether or not foreigners here in Thailand who get vaccinated will be able to get this document I just don't know but we will keep you updated on this channel as the situation progresses.
