We are talking about travel bubbles again and travel bubbles have been a real barrage as far as I am concerned to a certain extent. I have been talking about this for over a year and none of these ever seem to come to the foreground, actually come into existence but that said, you never know.

A recent article from the Nation, that is nationthailand.com, the article is titled: Thailand Seeks More Asian Tourists, Travel Bubble with Korea. Quoting directly: "The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced plans for a "Travel Bubble" agreement between Thailand and South Korea to allow quarantine free travel between the two countries. The scheme will be launched to stimulate the tourism sector once the pandemic eases." There is a lot going on there. Well first of all, what does "once the pandemic eases" mean exactly? I can't tell you. 

We have talked about this a lot. I think it would probably be a benefit for both countries to have some sort of "travel bubble" or "travel corridor" as it has been discussed in the past. That said it seems a lot like a chimera, like a mirage. It just never quite seems to come to fruition but it might and they are simply saying they are announcing plans. They may ultimately follow through on those plans but again it remains to be seen. We will certainly keep you updated on this channel as the situation evolves.
