I have had a number of folks be concerned regarding whether or not foreign Nationals will be included in the queue if you will, for getting vaccines. Quoting directly: "Thailand has repeated its commitment to give everyone in the country including expats and migrant workers vaccinations against COVID-19. Speaking on Thursday, Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) Deputy Spokesperson Apisamai Srirangson said that everyone living in Thailand including foreigners will be able to receive the vaccine. The distribution of vaccinations will include expatriates and migrant workers, Doctor Apisamai said." So clearly that pretty much sums it up. There is not going to be any discrimination against foreign nationals who are going to get the vaccine.

Now that stated, it is my understanding currently there is a limited supply of the vaccinations and for that reason they are prioritizing the folks that are going to be getting it, rolling it out to healthcare professionals and even certain frontline tourism associated folks as well as folks who may be more successful to getting COVID-19. That said, they are not looking to discriminate in any way. I know people have been concerned. I think their concerns were pretty much unfounded from the get-go but they were concerns nonetheless and it is good to see the Thai Government has addressed those concerns that yes no one is going to be intentionally passed aside and precluded from getting this vaccine if the supplies are there.
