Thai Immigration Says Online TM30 to Be More Efficient Soon

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the TM30 yet again.

In a recent article in Khaosod English and the article can be found at khaosodenglish.com. The article is titled Immigration Says TM30 Fix Underway:  Pleads for Understanding. To quote directly from that article: "However his Deputy Superintendent Thatchapong said a new system was put in place recently which he claims will reduce waiting times to a week or so. Thatchapong said the problems arise from missing information. Unlike online visa applications, no red mark alerts applicants when they fail to complete certain information or attach required documents.  Immigration Officials then have to make inquiries for more information."  Quoting directly, "Someone even sent us a selfie of himself and his wife instead of a document Thatchapong said."

Again, the title of this article, Immigration Says TM30 Fix is Underway: Pleads for Understanding, that is at khaosodenglish.com, There is a lot of information in this article. I urge those who are watching this video to check out that article. There is a lot going on in there and I think it is very enlightening for those that want to understand not only what will probably be happening in the foreseeable future with respect to TM30, but as well to understand the paradigm of the folks that have to administer and enforce the law pertaining to TM30.

The thing to take away from this video is I do believe they are working in earnest at Thai Immigration to upgrade and make the online system more efficient and I do believe them when they say that coming soon it will be more efficient but for the time being, it is sort of a matter of kind of bear with us while we try to get through this and integrate this aspect of the Immigration system so it is more seamlessly part of the overall process and thereby is no longer the burden that it currently is on people who are looking to extend their visas in Thailand or just simply looking to comply with relevant Thai Immigration Law
