"Insatiable" Demand for Tourism in Pattaya, Thailand?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests we are discussing the "insatiable” demand for tourism in Pattaya, Thailand, and I have got to say this is great. I am so happy to see this. Folks that have been watching me on this channel for a number of years probably know that it has just not been the best especially in the tourism sector for the past couple of years and these turn arounds, these developments are just fantastic.

I thought of making this video after reading a recent article from the Pattaya Mail, pattayamail.com, the article is titled: Good news continues to pour into Pattaya's open arms. Quoting directly: "A year ago Pattaya was a ghost town, but the exorcism has been a remarkable success. International tourism has rebounded to around 60% of its pre-covid levels, while domestic tourism by Thais is responsible for the weekend traffic jams which are alas becoming routine. Travel agents complained that the shortage of flights, especially from Europe is the main stumbling block to an even faster boom. Costs have doubled but the demand verges on insatiable."

That is just great news. I am so happy to hear that. That is such a good thing for Thailand; such a good thing for Pattaya. Pattaya, I know everybody gets angry with me in the comments about my pronunciation. I am from Kansas, I tend to drop my Ts into Ds from time to time so please bear with me on that.

But the long story short, this is such a good thing and I hope this trend continues. We're going into high season, I think we are going in a high season with a full head of steam. I hope for everyone's sake and the tourism sector as well as elsewhere in the Thai economy, that this trend continues and we just keep pushing forward through the rest of '22 and break through into 2023 in stride.
