Are Visa Interviews Cancelled at the US Embassy in Bangkok?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing Visa interviews at the US Embassy in Bangkok. I want to preface this video by saying this is a very fluid situation. I don't know exactly what kind of policies are going to be promulgated in the upcoming days and weeks but as of the time of this video and the publication of this video, this information is currently accurate.

So at the end of last week I had been in contact with the Embassy. We had a number of clients that were worrying about whether or not the circumstances in Thailand were causing interview appointments to be canceled. At least for now, we have seen some rescheduled. I have been in contact with the Embassy directly. I am not going to quote them directly or anything but to just provide some general overview of where things are at, yeah they did have to make some scheduling changes but ultimately things are moving ahead, at least prospectively for now. That was my last communication with them which basically was “yeah we are moving ahead.”

Now again, circumstances could change rather drastically. I suspect in the upcoming week ahead so I will try to make videos as timely as I can to address any changes that may arise but at least for now it does seem as though things are moving along albeit more slowly than under standard processing circumstances I think mostly because they are taking certain precautions internally to deal with the situation and move things along as best they can while at the same time being cautious with respect to their own personnel internally.

So again, I will make other videos on this channel if this Embassy shuts down again or cancels a bunch of interviews or something and that comes to my attention I will go ahead and do a video on that. But at least for now, as of the end of the past week, it looks like things are moving forward as normally as I guess you could say they could under present processing circumstances.
