Will Vaccines Be Required for O Retirement Visa Extension?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the O Retirement Visa and we are specifically discussing this in the context of whether or not it is possible to see a mandatory vaccination requirement associated with the O Retirement Visa. I have had a lot of correspondence from folks on this. I know folks are very worried about this for various reasons. Different people have different reasons for being worried about this.

Let's go ahead and start off by saying: Is this currently a requirement? No it is not presently a requirement for maintaining O Retirement Visa status. Could it be a requirement? Yes in theory it could. It could become a requirement. Immigration could change the regulations and make it a requirement. Will it? I personally believe, it is my opinion, that in the immediately foreseeable future that is unlikely and in fact I would say it rather highly unlikely. Again in the immediately foreseeable future and what I am talking about is into a good chunk of 2022, I think it is unlikely we would see that become required, if ever. It is very possible it never becomes a requirement.

So folks that are watching this video that are really worried about this, you know who you are and I have definitely heard what you had to say so I made this video. Breathe easy for the moment, just take a breath. At least for the immediately foreseeable future this is not a requirement and we will try to keep you updated on this channel as the situation progresses.
