As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the notion of the fastest Visa to be able to start work in Thailand.

A lot of people ask me this or I end up getting asked this as correspondence flows between me and clients in the firm and a question arises is "what is the "fastest" visa to work in Thailand?" My answer to that question, "well it depends." It depends on what kind of work you are wanting to do. Are you coming here to work for a Company; are you coming here to do your own work; are you coming here to invest? Generally speaking, I find that the standard sort of SME setup for most foreigners here in Thailand is a pretty quick process. We can usually get folks in with a Business Visa in about a couple of months usually, depending on circumstances. Less than that actually depending if they already have a Company set up or that needs to be done. You also have to deal with sort of the more complex Visa processing protocols presently, but yeah it is going to take a little time but a few weeks and yeah you can get into Thailand with a Business Visa. Understand, a Business Visa is not inherently work authorized. Once you arrive in Thailand with a Business Visa you then need to go ahead and get a Work Permit and then presumably an extension in order to maintain status longer term. 

The quickest way to get into Thailand in my opinion especially for folks who are looking to do business here on their own, is basically set up a Company, come in and get a Work Permit and go ahead and start operating your Company here in the Kingdom of Thailand
