As the title of this video suggests we are discussing "what are the current quarantine requirements for inbound travel to Thailand presently?"

I want to be clear, we are talking about this coming up on the middle of October of 2021. I did a lot of videos, I have gotten some correspondence, some feedback from folks where they said "you really haven't clarified, really haven't sussed it out exactly where things stand in October." We made a couple of videos regarding the fact that quarantine was not going to come to an end in October but instead we are probably looking at November. As of the time of this video, that is certainly what we are hoping. It appears to be on the cards but as of yet it remains to be seen what will actually transpire. 

The thing to take away from this video is what is the state of play now, here in October 2021? Where are we at? The fact is, it is different from September and I guess I was for lack of a better term, a little bit remiss in not clarifying this fully in a prior video. We were kind of more preoccupied with we thought it was going to end fully in October, it moved on to November, and then we start talking about some other concerns as they came up. I am going to go ahead and put this up on screen. This is from TAT News and this is just a breakdown of where everything stands. 

New quarantine period for entry to Thailand from 1 October, 2021. 

-Fully vaccinated, all modes of transport, 7 days quarantine and one RT-PCR tests during that time period.

-Not fully vaccinated, by air, it is a 10-day quarantine with two RT-PCR tests. 

-Not fully vaccinated, by road, it is 14-day quarantine again with two RT-PCR tests. 

So that is what you are looking at with respect to the overall quarantine situation as of now here in October of 2021. Now I suspect, we don't know this for sure but I think things are going to change and when they happen, I think they are going to happen rather quickly. We will definitely keep you updated on this channel as the situation evolves.
