As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing COVID Free Certificates and Vaccination Certificates for travel to Thailand.

In a recent article from the Bangkok Post, bangkokpost.com, the article is titled: Quarantine to be Eased from April 1. There is a lot of information in there; that is Quarantine to be Eased from April 1,bangkokpost.com. So, I suggest that you check that out for the waterfront.

Just to parse out this one little bit on the issue of quarantine duration, so these documents pertain to the duration of quarantine folks may have to go through moving forward here in Thailand. “Dr. Taweesilp said from April 1 to September 30, arrivals without a Vaccination Certificate and COVID Free Certificate would be quarantined for 10 days and be tested for the disease twice. Arrivals with VCs (Vaccination Certificate) and CFCs (COVID Free Certificate) would be quarantined for 7 days and tested once. Those with VCs but without CFCs would be tested twice.” So, it appears that there is getting to be a little bit of flexibility with respect to documentation but it does appear that with this documentation, if you have both Vaccination Certificate and COVID Free Certificate you are looking at 7 days quarantine as opposed to 10 and then if you have any other combination or you are missing a Vaccine Certificate, it looks like you are in there for 10 days whereas before it was 14.

Now again, we have yet to see the practical implications of this stuff being rolled out so we are going to keep you updated on this channel as the situation progresses. The thing to take away from this video is if you have got a Vaccine Certificate with a COVID Free Certificate, it looks like you are probably only going to have 7 days of quarantine in the Kingdom of Thailand from April to September of 2021.
