Updated Information on Airlines Flying to Thailand

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing matters pertaining to airlines flying in and out of Thailand. I thought of making this video after reading a recent article from the Pattaya Mail, that is pattayamail.com, the article is titled: Pattaya Grapevine: The gay disease? Quoting directly in one of the subheadings, is it under Airline News and it says "Signs of the times. Bangkok Airways is recommencing flights to Siem Reap next month (that is Siem Reap, Cambodia) and Aeroflot is resuming flights to Phuket for the winter high season. Meanwhile, British Airways is abandoning Thailand altogether for the foreseeable future, leaving Eva, (that's Eva Air) and Thai as the only direct flights from UK to Bangkok. All are twists and turns in the Coronavirus story." I urge those who are watching this video to go check out that article; a lot of information in there.

On top of this in the American context, yeah we have seen the volume of flights out of the United States has gone up and we have been kind of watching this rather closely because we saw it go down to a trickle and it was really hard to get a flight going back a couple of years ago when we were dealing with Certificates of Entry. It was a total run around nightmare dealing with that. One of the main Attorneys here in the office who had to deal with that on a daily basis, I thought she was going to pull her hair out. It was really difficult dealing with the logistics and sort of administration of putting together flights out of the United States. The good news is the volume is going up although to the best of my knowledge at least as the time of this video, there are no direct flights coming out of the United States into Bangkok. Now that was the case even before COVID, so even before we were starting to deal with COVID you did not have a direct flight going into Bangkok. There were some and then there were some issues with that and we didn't have it and we still don't have a direct flight to the best of my knowledge coming from the United States travelling into Bangkok. Now that may change in coming months and years but that remains to be seen.

So the thing to take away from this video yeah, we are still kind of in a state of flux with respect to some of the logistical issues associated with travel, inbound travel specifically into Thailand but at least as of the time of this video, things to seem to be improving and we will certainly keep you updated on this channel as the situation evolves.
