As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the Thailand Pass and the possibility of using the Thailand Pass in 2022. For those who are unaware, we have had a change of policy here at the very end of the fourth quarter of 2021. We were using a "Test and Go" method; we were using Thailand Pass, that has been suspended. Supposedly there is going to be reassessment on January 4th, 2022 although the decision regarding this remains to be seen. So exactly what is going to happen with respect to the Thailand Pass in 2022 is still very much up in the air. 

Now I think what we can do is a bit of analysis on what things will look like post Jan 4, depending on the decision. If the decision is to continue with the situation as it currently is, then Thailand Pass will continue to be suspended and it looks like Certificates of Entry will be the rule of the day. If they decide to end the suspension and reinitiate the Thailand Pass system it will look very much like, at least presumably look very much like November, December of 2021 where we had the Thailand Pass System, "test and go"; fly in, one night in a hotel, do a test, if you come up negative the next day then you are free to go about your business here in Thailand. 

Now there has been some talk that there may be possibly like a Bangkok Sandbox which would look similar to the Phuket Sandbox. All of that is speculation and remains to be seen. I think the best analysis to do right now is "what is going to happen on Jan 4?" If they say we are going to continue with the suspension well again we are dealing with quarantine or the Phuket Sandbox and Certificates of Entry rather than Thailand Pass. If they lift the suspension, then again Thailand Pass is back, presumably "test and go" would be back and we would be dealing with that from there on.
