As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the Thai Visa extension process in the year 2022. I have done a number of videos similar to this one where I take basically an overarching topic, in this case Visa Extension and basically discuss some things that I have been thinking about, sort of popped into my head as to what to think about going into this coming year, 2022. 

Overall, the extension process was not really impacted all that greatly during this whole pandemic situation. Now there were some circumstances where we had situations where Immigration was effectively shut down or it was so truncated processing that was very difficult to get things done and they made some accommodation for folks based on the well quite frankly the unprecedented circumstances. But overall, frankly the extension process didn't really change that much quite frankly internally under the current system. 

Now depending on the Visa category, things like Insurance requirements popped up depending on the Visa you were dealing with. We also saw some situations where conversions and then extensions depending on the circumstances might not be possible it going into 2022 but we are not talking conversion, we are just talking just mainly extension. Yeah I am not really seeing where there is going to be a lot to be overly worried about with respect to extending one's status. I know folks that are in O Retirement status and specifically O Retirement status are a little bit concerned that maybe they will change the regulations associated with extension but at least as of the time of this video, that does not appear to be the case.
