Thai Immigration Office in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the Thai Immigration Office with jurisdiction over Hua Hin, in Prachuab Khiri Khan, Thailand and I am making these videos mostly as sort of a shorthand in a way for myself.

I get a number of enquiries from folks that ask me about the specifics of a given Immigration Office and so I am making this video to be able to send to you folks to basically say look here is the information I have off hand regarding the Hua Hin Immigration Office. I hope that random viewers who found this via YouTube for example, find this interesting and insightful as well.

First of all, the Prachuab Khiri Khan Immigration Office in Hua hin or I should say with jurisdiction over Hua Hin, the address is 296/1 Moo 6, Amphur Muang, Prachuab Khiri Khan, 77110; so that is the address.

Something for those who are watching this video to keep in mind is different Immigration Offices do handle things differently, both from a procedural standpoint and to some extent from a substantively interpretive standpoint when it comes to the laws and regulations associated with Thai Immigration. So what you read online and a forum for example that says "oh I got my Visa done this way” or “this is the procedure that I undertook to get this sorted out". It may vary, so unless it is the Hua Hin Office specifically, it may not be particularly pertinent information for your particular case especially if is processing through Hua Hin. The other thing to keep in mind is you may be reading a post that says "oh they do it this way in Hua Hin" and that post may be 5 years old. Things may have radically changed in that time frame.

So those who are looking at information for Hua Hin specifically, there are plenty of resources out there but understand that things can change based on timing and things can also be different based on geography here, so everything that you read online is not necessarily going to be dispositive with respect to how they are going to process your specific case at the Immigration Office in Hua Hin at the time you apply.
