As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing Thai Business Visa Applications. When you are applying for a standard Thai Business Visa, especially for an SME here in Thailand, Small to Medium Sized Enterprise, small business, you are going to be looking at a situation wherein you have a Business Visa Application especially for an extension of status. Now generally, if you apply at an Embassy abroad, yeah they are going to review it but they are pretty well going to go over it, either at the window if you are dealing with it online, in pretty short order. You usually hear back in a day. At Thai immigration here in specifically Bangkok but even throughout the Kingdom, generally speaking, the practice is you have got to go ahead and file for a B Visa extension and then you get a 30-day stamp while the case is under review and then after 30 days you basically go back to Thai Immigration and have them give you the other 11 months if they approve the extension.  So basically that is the way that the extension works. 

So there is a review period for a Business Visa application. Generally they want to they will want to assess tax documentation, documentation pertaining to the Company. They may even want to send out Inspectors depending on circumstances, so again there is this month-long period where an application for a B Visa extension is going to be kept under review.
