As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the Thailand Elite Visa or the termination of one of the categories specifically the Elite Family Excursion Package.

I'm going to go ahead and quote here directly from the Thailand Elite website, that's thailandelite.com, this is the Thailand Privilege Card Co. Ltd website. Let me go ahead and quote that directly; throw that up on screen too. "Thailand Privilege Card Company Limited is improving our membership card project with an aim to better serve and respond to the needs of foreigners who wish to stay long-term in Thailand. In accordance with the current refurbishment plan we are hereby sending this official notification to inform you that the selling of Elite Family Excursion (EFE) package will be discontinued from June 16th, 2023. The discontinuation will not affect those who hold EFE membership status or those who have already submitted their EFE membership applications. All EFE members are and will be entitled to their privileges until the end of their membership as usual. Clients who have submitted the EFE membership application within June 15, 2023, will still be eligible to apply for such membership package. However, they will be required to complete the payment within 30 days after receiving an approval letter and an invoice. The Company reserves the right to deny applications of those who fail to complete the payment within these terms. Please be assured you will be kept informed of all details after the development of the program is complete." So that pretty well sums things up. For those who are unaware, that is a 5-year program that was designed for not only a single Visa holder, a single member but also their family as well. We have done videos on these in the past; this is just one category, this is not the entire Visa system, it is just one specific category is going to be discontinued.

So the thing to take away from this video is yeah if that is something you are interested in, it looks like you have till June 15th of this year in order to get all your ducks in a row with regard to application and payment of fees. But after roughly call it 6 weeks from the taping of this video, it looks like the EFE package will no longer be available at all. Now what that will be replaced with, if at all, remains to be seen.
