As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing Thailand Elite Visas. I have seen some stuff out in the ether of the internet and I have talked to some folks in the past few weeks, we have been talking about property ownership and they have said "oh well I read somewhere that if you buy a condo you just get an Elite Visa." 

Let's be clear because I think people misunderstand this. The condo ownership or the buying thereof does not confer the Visa; that is not what is going on here. It is basically a perk to certain condo buyers but somebody, probably the seller, is paying for that Elite Visa or I should say membership in the Thailand Elite Program with the privilege card or Thailand Privilege, the Company.

So the thing to understand about this is that the condo itself does not confer the Immigration benefit. Instead, that benefit, that membership from which the benefit is accrued, is paid for by someone and that someone is getting it as a perk associated with the purchase in many cases it appears to be of Thai condos, or of condos here in the Kingdom of Thailand.
