The Royal Thai Embassy in Beijing, Peoples Republic of China

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the Royal Thai Embassy in the People's Republic of China. The address is: Royal Thai Embassy, Guang Hua Road 40, Chaiyang District, Beijing 100600, China. The telephone number is: (+86) 10 6532 1749; alternatively (+86) 10 6532 1848; alternatively (+86) 10 8528 8771; alternatively (+86) 10 8528 8772.

We make a number of these videos and we make these presuming that they are going to be watched by folks who are seeking to apply for a Visa to Thailand.

It should be noted that different Consulates and Embassies have different ways of processing things. I will note that the process in dealing with obtaining a Thai visa from China is much more documentary intensive than it is from other Embassies and Consulates. This can especially be the case for a third country National, for example non-Chinese Nationals applying for a Thai visa from China. This has proven to be something of a more cumbersome process compared to other jurisdictions.

The other thing to keep in mind is different Embassies and Consulates may have truncated abilities with respect to issuing certain categories of visas as well as visas of a certain length. It may be possible to get for example a Business Visa from one Consulate and not possible to obtain it from another Consulate. It may be possible to obtain for example a multi-entry one year visa from a given Consulate and not possible to do that from another one.

Things will vary from post to post. Also different posts have different ways of processing things the way they like to see for lack of better term documentation presented to them.

If you feel overwhelmed or unable to deal with the overall complexity, it may be a good idea to go ahead and contact a legal professional in order to gain some insight and guidance into help best to proceed.
