As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing new retirees to Thailand and the issue of Bank Accounts. Banking is one of the major concerns of many retirees here in the Kingdom because it is such an integral part to the Retirement Visa but at least it’s such a catch 22. Because oftentimes especially where folks are coming in without a Retirement Visa, it may or may not be possible to convert them to a Retirement Visa, again circumstances depending. But even in the circumstances where it may be possible they may find themselves getting caught up in a catch 22 situation where they need the Bank Account to get the Visa and they need the Visa to get the Bank Account sort of thing. 

Cutting that Gordian Knot can be rather difficult; I don't often do videos where we just say "hey this is something we can assist with" but we often do assist as part of our service associated with getting retirees their visa situation set up here in Thailand, we often assist with helping folks get their Bank Account set up here in Thailand. Just getting a personal bank account with an ATM card is something that is a real benefit to foreign nationals specifically foreign retirees and as a result we can make this part of our service. We can assist folks not only in regularizing their Retirement Visa status here in the Kingdom but also getting their banking facilities as well.
