List of Approved COVID Vaccines for Travel to Thailand

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the approved COVID vaccines for travel to Thailand to be able to enjoy the shorter quarantine. The current regime now is 10 days quarantine standard from "low-risk countries", high risk countries are still dealing with 14 days quarantine. For those who are unaware of the difference, it is probably a good idea to perhaps contact a legal professional if you think your country is on the fence but we are talking about sort of low risk countries, Western countries etc.

What are we looking at as far as what are the approved COVID Vaccines? So I am quoting this from TAT News, that is tourismauthorityofthailandnews.org. Quoting directly: "The following vaccines are accepted as of 31 March 2021: ARS-CoV-2 Vaccine (CoronaVac) by Synovac (2 doses needed); AZD1222 by AstraZeneca/Oxford (2 doses needed); AZD1222 by SK BIOSCIENCE - AstraZeneca Oxford (2 doses needed); BNT162b2 /CORMIRNATY - Tozinameran (Inn) by Pfizer/BioNtech (2 doses needed); Covishield (ChAdOx1_nCoV19) by the Serum Institute of India (2 doses needed); Ad26.COV2.S by the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson (1 dose needed); mRNA-1273 by Moderna (2 doses needed).

That is up to date as of April 1 2021, 6 days ago - April 1 2021. That is what we are dealing with, that is the approved list for now. So just to re-sum that up, it looks like: Synovac, AstraZeneca from abroad, AstraZeneca through SK BIOSCIENCE, Pfizer BioNtech, Serum Institute of India, Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson, and Moderna.

I don't know what is going on with the Sputnik V vaccination. Apparently that is not currently on the list although they may have updated it between the time this was published and the making of this video. So you definitely shouldn't necessarily view this as dispositive but those are the list from TAT posted itself of the approved vaccinations to be able to come to Thailand and presumably if fully vaccinated and you meet all the criteria, enjoy a truncated quarantine of 7 days as opposed to 10 days here in the Kingdom of Thailand.
