I was actually looking at, it was like a chat between some folks in a comment section of a video I was watching, and basically the topic came up: "Is it worth it to return to Thailand?" One person was kind of saying "No" and the other person saying "Yes", I will say especially the past year, I may seem someone negative or a bit pessimistic about things and if that is the way I come off, I am sorry for lack of a better term. 

I want to be clear, especially this last year the Immigration System has been in a very weird state. I haven't loved the policy decisions that have been made with respect to certain aspects of the situation here in Thailand. Long story short, yeah, I am a Thailand lover at heart and Thailand is definitely worth it to return to. I think especially now where some of the onus has been brought off with the decreasing requirements associated with "Test & Go" and now where we are starting to see people are kind of chilling out a little bit and with talk of this thing being declared endemic and moving on, things are getting better on that front. But more than that, candidly, with the exception of a few blips over the past year, my day-to-day life just living here wasn't substantially all that bad. Various parts could have been a lot better but especially here in the past few months, especially the latter part of the fourth quarter 2021 going into the first quarter of 2022, I have to say things are definitely improving a lot to the point where frankly, it is hard tell that there is anything really amiss. 

But yeah, I definitely think it is worth it to come to Thailand. I love Thailand. I think a lot of people who haven't been here will like it and I think folks that have been here know what they can expect and if anything, maybe things are a little cheaper at the moment but yeah definitely worth the trip, definitely worth it to come. Of that I have no doubt.
