As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing Thailand Elite Visas. For those who are unaware, a Thailand Elite Visa, you can join the Thailand Elite program and part of becoming a member is that you can get a Visa in the increment of 5, 10, 15 or 20 years. You can have your Visa status sort of front loaded associated with your membership. 

Now the question for many is: "How long does it take to process in to the program?" The fact of it is a little while. It can take a couple of months; it definitely takes a number of weeks. There is kind of a backlog; there is kind of high demand for Thai Elite Visas. On top of that, they have to process background checks and make certain that folks that are going into the program are not in some kind of violation of the rules associated with it. So, as we have noted in other videos, I think even bankruptcy can be an issue with respect to Thailand Elite as well again a prior criminal record either in Thailand or in another jurisdiction can weigh into the adjudication as to whether or not someone can be admitted into the Thailand Elite Program.

But yeah, it can take a few weeks so go ahead and plan accordingly. I would say you definitely shouldn't presume it is going to be an instantaneous process.
