As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing Thai O Marriage Visas and specifically we are discussing foreign marriage documentation associated with the application for an O Marriage Visa here in Thailand.

What we are talking about, if you have been married abroad there may be a number of extra steps associated with certifying that marriage for usage here in Thailand. By usage I mean the documentation as evidence of the marriage in order to obtain an O Visa, an O Marriage Visa. Some of this can be pretty darn convoluted and it can be pretty frustrating to deal with but yeah if you are married abroad, in a very real sense the Thai system doesn't know that. Understand Thailand utilizes a really meticulous Civil Registrar system so they want to know that information and that is especially the case if you are looking to get an O Marriage Visa based on your marriage to a Thai National. Proving that up, there can be quite a number of hurdles involved in certifying up that documentation as it is got to be certified on a Government to Government level and there could be multiple different sort of sub certifications if you want to look at it like that in order to go ahead and ultimately get that Visa issued.
