Entry Rules for Vaccinated Travelers to Thailand

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing entry rules for vaccinated travellers coming into Thailand. The reason I thought of making this video, I was reading a recent article from Thai PBS World, that is thaipbsworld.com, the article is titled: Pilots and Airlines reminded to comply with Thailand's relaxed Covid-19 measures. Quoting directly: "The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has issued a notice (NOTAM) to Pilots and Airlines, reminding them to comply with the latest, but relaxed, Covid-19 measures in Thailand, which will become effective on July 1st." Now for those who are interested in reading this in depth, I urge you to go to this this article. It has got a lot of good information in there.

We are talking specifically about vaccinated folks and what are you looking at, what are the specifics as to your requirements to come into Thailand. Quoting directly: "No Thailand Pass required for any overseas arrival." That is from July 1, no Thailand Pass. Quoting further: "No fully vaccinated overseas arrivals are required to undergo Covid-19 tests upon arrival, unless they develop symptoms, in which case they will be advised to take a rapid antigen test." So I think that pretty much sums it up. If you are coming in and you are vaccinated, you don't need to do any testing or anything. I don't know how they would determine if you were symptomatic. Maybe you are just pouring sweat. I mean they are not doing thermoscans anymore, which people kind of question the efficacy of that, but the temperatures, if you are not running a fever it is pretty hard to tell if you are symptomatic of much of anything I would think.

Now that being said, it does appear that the general rule is look if you are vaccinated and you are coming into Thailand no biggie, you just come on in and you will just be admitted, no need for any further testing etc. So that appears to be the situation on the ground here in Thailand as of July 1st, 2022. We will certainly keep you updated on this channel as the situation evolves.
