As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the "Classic" Thai Business Visa. There has been a lot of talk recently, in recent years especially, things like the BOI Visas which in a sense they are kind of classic but they are just not used by the vast majority of B Visa holders. Then we have had some more sort of newer joiners to the game of the Business Visa, things like Smart Visas and all these Visas they are talking about for Digital Nomads etc., etc. "Bleisure", I did a video on "Bleisure" Visas, folks that kind of, they work abroad and they want to vacation somewhere and they can spend months at a time for example here in Thailand while working off their computer.

The purpose of this video is, we have discussed these new proposed visas, the Smart Visas, but is the B Visa, just the "classic" Business Visa really at the end of the day still one of the best if not the best? I would make a strong argument especially for folks looking to set up a small business here in Thailand that the standard Business Visa is pretty darn good. Now depending on circumstances, there may be benefits to have with BOI; there may be benefits to be had with things like the Smart Visa Program, or these proposed Digital Nomad Visas. The facts of everyone's case are going to be different. They are going to drive different analysis or different conclusions but at the end of the day for the vast majority of folks that I know that want to set up a small business here in Thailand, a standard Business Visa is pretty much the way to go.
