As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the notion that all Thai Visa applications are online now. Somebody actually told me this kind of offhand the other day. They said it in passing and I stopped them and I said “what do you mean by that?” It was a lady that is a client of ours, been a client of ours for some time and she said "Yeah with all the applications being online for all Thai visas", I don't even remember the full context, but she basically said, "I have to deal with XYZ before I can even come to Thailand etc." 

I didn't really think of that but, yeah I can see from a lay person's perspective, they think all Thai Visa applications are done online. No that is not strictly speaking true. All Certificates of Entry are dealt with online. Visa applications are still processed especially if you have to get a Visa sticker issued in your passport, yeah that is still done for lack of a better term, analog if you will and you have got to send it in. We are dealing with this in a lot of Business Visa cases where you got to go ahead and get the actual B Visa sticker issued. 

So yeah, I understand why people would say that. Certainly the Certificate of Entry is definitely part of the overall process but that is just one component. If you are looking to actually get a Visa, no, that is an analog component as well. Those who are curious about this or think they may want to come to Thailand, it may be a good idea to go ahead and contact a legal professional to go ahead and gain some insight and guidance into how best to proceed.
