As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the EEC, or the Eastern Economic Corridor. I have to say, going into 2024 I am really excited to see what is going to happen down in the EEC.

As we have discussed in other videos, the EEC has its own kind of if you want to call it Board similar to the Board of Investment. There is a body that deals with the EEC specifically regarding concessions that can be granted to companies that set up in that region. For those who are unaware, that region would be Chonburi, Chachoengsao and Rayong. Also note that the City of Pattaya is in that zone as well as Laem Chabang Port and the port facilities and all of that stuff, it all interconnects together; I think it is exciting times quite honestly for the Eastern Corridor. I think 2024 is probably the first year of many moving ahead where we are going to see a tremendous amount of growth in that particular region; I think these are all good things. I think that this Government, the prior Government was encouraging it, I think this Government continues in that vein because basically the thing I have noticed, the overarching trend if you will that I have noticed about this new Government is they want to encourage investment, they want to encourage business. That is great, I love to see that and I think it is going to be good for the EEC. 

I think we are going to see a lot more business activity in that particular location and I also think that it is probably going to drive a tremendous amount of growth in Thailand moving forward.
