Shoutout to Stickman Bangkok!
Transcript of the above video:
Stickman, tip of the hat to you sir. I will get into a citation here in a moment but for some background, for especially new folks who might not be as aware of Stickman as folks once were, Stickman has been the go-to for especially street news in Thailand, pertaining to the nightlife, pertaining to local expat businesses, the sort of environment and atmosphere of local expat life here in Thailand, Stickman Bangkok, stickmanbangkok.com, has been the go-to place for that kind of information going back into the blogging world. And by the way, I go back all the way back to 2009 doing my own blog over on the main Integrity Legal channel or over on the main Integrity Legal website, I had a blog over there for a number of years, a written blog back when you really to get Google to notice you, you had to write a lot of content.
Stickman has always been a big hero of mine if you will and he was a go-to place for really no-nonsense information and a lot of anecdotal data points for being an expat here in Thailand. Over the years, him and I have both kind of cited each other and tipped our hats to each other in the blogosphere if you will and I need to do that again because it recently came to my attention through a client actually that in Stickman's weekly June 15, 2025 again, stickmanbangkok.com, quoting directly he noted us and I appreciate it. "Speaking of sweet treats, Bangkok-based American lawyer Benjamin Hart, who is perhaps best known for his YouTube channel, has opened Pancake Palace in the Silom/Suriwong Road area, just a short walk down the road from Patpong. In addition to pancakes, Pancake Palace offers authentic American diner-style food like burgers, sandwiches, chilli bowl etc., and there's also a fully stocked bar." Hey, don't forget our world-famous Buffalo Wings. We have some of the best, I would argue, the best, Buffalo Wings in Bangkok. I will go pound for pound on that statement with anybody; you don't get better Buffalo Wings than at Pancake Palace. But we also have breakfast all day; it very much is diner style. That said, quoting further: "It looks like a pleasant, casual spot with reasonably priced food. Benjamin has long struck me as someone who strives to do everything well," - thanks Stick, I appreciate that - "Pancake Palace looks like it's worth a visit."
Thanks again Stickman. I really do appreciate you giving us a shout out in there. There is a link in the description below to Stickman's entry on June 15th, 2025. I urge those who want to know what is going on in Thailand to check that out. He is always very good again with commonsensical information, his own insights about his own expat experience over here as well as putting up entries from other folks who write in to him with their own anecdotal information and stories about how things work. Very much a tip of the hat to you sir; I very much appreciate it.
