That's not what we are talking about today. In this particular video we are asking the question, what is Pancake Palace? And Pancake Palace is what I am going to be showing you here in a moment. I just wanted to do a quick intro here. 

We have, actually, my wife and I who actually works with me here in the firm, but we have got kind of a little sideline going and it is the Pancake Palace. I myself really enjoy American food and I certainly enjoy pancakes, who doesn't love pancakes, and we have opened a restaurant here in Bangkok that is - actually depending on who you talk to – it is either on Soi Tarntawan, next to or roughly just probably 20 paces away from Mango Tree restaurant on Soi Tarntawan or if you want to look at it from the other side of the street - Bangkok streets being what they are - it is on Narathiwas Soi 1 here in the Silom-Surawong area; we are just a little ways up the road from Patpong, but yeah we are kind of in the older part of the city over here and now I'm going to go ahead and take you in and show you some of the premises here, so here we go. 

So you can see, we've got The Big Lebowski on the wall, we've got old Marilyn Monroe here and I'm going to show you our little pancake mural. We were making this video while we were still doing some work so there are some guys upstairs that are working so that's why you're not seeing me actually in the video, but I did want to show you the place as soon as we can. We will do some more videos from this and let folks know what's going on with regard to this as time goes by. Then this is our pancake mural here and eventually we're going to have a karaoke and comedy club upstairs but we're currently working on that. We'll get to that down the road and I will certainly be keeping people updated on this channel with regard to that, not that this channel is going to become the Pancake Palace; just periodically you may hear me mention things about the Pancake Palace. 

We have our mural of license tags here from throughout different parts of the Anglosphere: the United States, UK, Australia - all that good stuff - kind of part of our ambiance if you will. Of course we have got the WEF one; I'm not a big fan of that but there you go. I wanted to do some footage from outside. This is the outside of Pancake Palace. That’s our sign up there. I'm going to put that in the thumbnail so people know what that looks like. These are the outside premises. Again we are on what some would call Soi Tarntawan, what others would call Narathiwas Soi 1. But yeah this is here in between Silom and Surawong Road. As you can see, we have got a current special; one pancake, one black coffee for 100 baht, and we do of course have a well-stocked bar, and we thought we'd show some of the menu here. So this is some of our a la carte items as well as sandwiches. Burgers: we have cheeseburgers and Sloppy Joes as well as the chicken burger and we are serving pork chops. We also have great chili; bear in mind this is all really authentic American food.  Let’s go ahead and show the other side of the menu here. You'll also see that we have got chicken wings, buffalo wings. Our buffalo wings are some of the best around. Again, potato salad, coleslaw - if you're thinking American food, American diner food - pancakes, American breakfast, English breakfast - we've got all of that good stuff and we're looking forward to seeing you when you come down. 

As I said, when we have got a little more up and going, I am going to do maybe some other videos, just a little peek into what's going on there. If you want to come down have a bite, you will probably see me in there from time to time, and I'm happy to see folks and we look forward to serving you.
