Fully "Endemic by July"?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing this overall lockdown, pandemic situation whatever you want to call it and as Thailand continues to reopen, as things continue to get for lack of a better term, better, a recent article from the Pattaya News, that is thepattayanews.com, the article is titled: Public Health expects COVID-19 to be fully treated as 'endemic' by July. Quoting further: "The Thai Ministry of Public Health has joined university researchers to assess Thailand's response to the COVID-19 situation following World Health Organization guidelines expecting to announce the disease as endemic in July. Dr. Rungrueng Kitphati, Advisor and Spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health revealed to the Press yesterday March 5th that the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand and around the world is likely to continue to decline. The Ministry then developed a management plan to announce the disease and treat it as Endemic." So all around good news.

Things are getting better on all fronts and we are starting to see things reopen and I would say it is getting to be about time. Hopefully this will happen sooner rather than later. I don't really quite understand, I have been trying to read various news sources why exactly July is like the magic date or month or whatever but I haven't been able to find anything that really explains that in concise detail from what I have researched.

So the thing to take away from this video is yeah things are turning around in Thailand. We have already seen massive changes to "Test & Go"; there is no longer the five-day trial and then you have got to take another test before you are free to truly go. "Test and Go" now again is a one night in a hotel; you have got to do your PCR test then off you go. Massive, massive improvement from what we were looking at going back into November, October of 2021, so credit where credit is due; let's look at the bright side of things. Things are getting better. There is still a long ways to go to get things back to in my opinion, where they really need to be, so hopefully we will see these changes for the better in the relatively near future.
