As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the so-called "Nike Curve" in the Thai real estate market. I like this term that is why I am making this video. I just came upon this and it gave me kind of a chuckle; I don't know why. 

I found this at thaivisa.com, and the article is titled: Real Estate: Foreigners Told that 2021 is a Golden Year for Investment in Condos and thaivisa.com is citing Bangkok Business News. This is the point that I thought was interesting: "Saengphin Sukhee of Fraser's Property Home (Thailand) said there was now an opportunity to focus on sustained growth in the sector (that is real estate). He said that real estate will never die or collapse and he was waiting for what he called the "Nike Curve", and I think he is referring to that "swoosh". I kind of like the analogy because if you look at the economy, you got up to the first quarter of 2021 and then BOOM it dipped, and then everything has been kind of recovering ever since, so it looks like the Nike "swoosh" if you will. 

Yeah it is interesting. He brings up a good point. I have said this before. There are going to be some serious bargains in the Thai real estate market. there is no doubt about that. We have seen it, we have seen a number of things that have been sold. We have assisted in conveyancing for things that we would never see sold at the prices that they have been sold for prior to this. Now how long this is going to last and keep the property market depressed remains to be seen but nothing lasts forever. The only constant is change and I suspect that one of these days folks that avail themselves of opportunities during these relatively dark times at least economically, may find themselves in a really advantageous position sometime down the road.
