As the title of this video suggests, we are actually talking about what I would call the Top Cop here in Thailand, the Head of the National Police or I should say the National Police Chief, the Head of the National Police and talking about the situation involving Surachate "Big Joke" Hakparn or the sort of ongoing summons. 

I thought of making this video after reading a recent article in the Bangkok Post, that is bangkokpost.com, the article is titled: Deputy Police Chief may be suspended over online gambling allegation. Quoting directly: "National Police Chief Pol Gen Torsak Sukvimol said on Monday that his deputy Surachate Hakparn (that is Big Joke) may be suspended due to a probe into the latter’s alleged involvement in an online gambling network and the case would be concluded before the Chief's retirement this September." Yeah a lot going on in there. I urge those who are watching this video, go check out that article in detail, there is a lot of good detail in there sort of about the sort of ins and outs of how all this is going to maybe play out. 

But long story short, yeah I have been following "Big Joke" ever since he came to the forefront at Thai Immigration and then his career has just been quite honestly rather fascinating ever since then and we have continued to keep track of him here on this channel. There does appear to be currently an official summons for him to speak on the matter pertaining to what appears to be allegations pertaining to illegal gambling here in Thailand and it is my understanding he is tasked with answering that summons between the time of this video and Thursday of this week here in Thailand. We will certainly keep people updated on this channel as this situation evolves.
