Thai Police Brass Meet American Ambassador On Human Trafficking?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing, well yet again Thai Police Officials have met with Officials from the US Government regarding matters pertaining to human trafficking.

I am going to go ahead and throw this up on the screen. This is from the Bangkok Post, that's bangkokpost.com, and the photo, if you look, we will go ahead and throw this photo up on screen, if you look down below, this is from the Bangkok Post print edition, it says Traffic Control - National Police Chief Pol Gen Torsak Sukvimol meets with Cindy Dyer, the United States Ambassador-at-large to monitor and combat trafficking in persons at the Royal Thai headquarters yesterday." Now I also found some information in Thai language, Thai press sources, again, Matichon I think was one of them and then also Nation TV. In those, we also saw that apparently Surachate "Big Joke" Hakparn was present as well and as he is the Director General, Royal Thai Police's Child and Women Protection and Anti Human Trafficking Centre, so he was also there as well.

As we have discussed in prior videos, "Big Joke" recently, as least more recently seems to have been paying more attention, I hesitate to use that term, but it seems like this issue is being targeted, this human trafficking issue, because it is a problem at the end of the day, especially child trafficking is arguably one of the most evil things I have ever heard of and I have been quoted as saying it needs to be pulled out root and branch from Thailand as much as it can. And "Big Joke" Surachate Hakparn as we have seen in the past, can be very assiduous in performing his duties as a Police Officer so in my mind, this is a perfect place to focus that attention is on the sort of human trafficking aspect. As noted, Pol Gen Torsak who is now the National Police Chief was also at that meeting as well.

So it shows me that again Thailand generally, law enforcement in Thailand is very keen on dealing with this issue and hopefully we will see some major strides to that end as the year plays out and as we go into 2024. We will certainly keep you updated on this channel as that situation evolves.
