Chinese Share "Database of Criminal Suspects" with Thailand?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the Chinese sharing the database of criminal suspects with Thai Authorities. I thought of making this video after reading a recent article from the Bangkok Post, bangkokpost.com, the article is titled: Thai brides flee as sweet talks sours. Quoting directly: "Chinese Authorities also agreed to share with the IB," (that's Immigration Bureau) "Chinese Authorities also agreed to share with the IB their database of criminal suspects facing arrest warrants in China who might be fleeing to Thailand." So yeah.

Now look, going back quite a ways, this goes back to my days in the blogosphere when I used to primarily blog, sort of before the era when video was easy to deal with, I remember when the Thai Law Enforcement System, specifically Immigration, began hooking in if you will to the NCIC database. So that was sort of the interstate database in the United States associated with criminal warrants etc. and that had a major impact on folk's ability to come to Thailand, most notably especially sex offenders. Sex offenders effectively became barred from getting into Thailand due to a number of protocols initiated by the Americans and communicating with their Thai counterparts which resulted in a lot of folks not being able to enter the Kingdom.

Now the thing to take away from this video is I suspect that there will be similar consequences to these recent developments where Chinese Authorities are sharing criminal, I should say criminal database information with their Thai counterparts. It will probably result I would imagine, in the number of Chinese criminals coming into Thailand diminishing substantially. Now when exactly that will happen and on what timeline remains to be seen. I suspect it will probably take a little bit of time for this to be implemented and for it then to be brought online in such a way that we see tangible results. But I could see the end of this year, 2023, seeing a difference in how Chinese Nationals are able to enter the Kingdom of Thailand and then thereafter, we would see a situation where much like where we see a lower number of for example American criminals being able to enter the Kingdom, we would see I would think the same thing happen with regard to criminals from China being able to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.
