As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the topic of stimulus payments AKA stimulus cheques here in Thailand.

A recent tweet from the American Citizen Services Division of the US Embassy here in Bangkok and we are going to go ahead and throw this up on screen. Quoting directly: "Wondering about the third round of Economic Impact Payments? Check the IRS online tool Get My Payment www.irs.gov/getmypayment." So ACS put that out there. I thought that was very interesting, very useful. 

Folks who are unaware, yes there appears to be a new stimulus payment, Economic Impact Payment that you may be eligible for if you are an American, even if you are abroad depending on your tax circumstances etc. If so, it may be a good idea to check into that as you may be able to gain those benefits. For those who are unaware, those who have filed their taxes may be eligible for a stimulus payment. Even if you didn't file, there may be certain circumstances where you might still be eligible. Moving forward it may be possible if you need to back file your taxes, you may also prove ultimately to be eligible for stimulus. Again fact dependent circumstances of a given individual's case will dictate whether or not that eligibility exists. 

For those who are interested, it may be a good idea to contact a legal professional to gain some insight and guidance into whether or not you are eligible for a stimulus payment if you are an American citizen, even if you are an American abroad.
