As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing Stimulus Checks in the aftermath of the shutdown in the United States resulting from the Coronavirus or COVID-19 crisis. 

Basically I have been getting a lot of questions as "Well do I qualify?" or a lot of people are presuming they may not qualify because they live abroad. Tax filing status definitely does matter with respect to Stimulus Checks but simply living abroad is not preclusive for those who may want to get a Stimulus Check as a result of this shutdown.  It is probably a good idea to contact a legal professional or contact our office on this if you are having issues with respect to a Stimulus Check. That being said, simply living abroad does not discount one from eligibility.

Now again, one's tax filing history may be at issue, one's circumstances with regard to taxes generally; if they are in arrears or something there could be issues with respect to receiving a check. Also children living abroad, if they are American citizens are probably eligible for this stimulus. That being said you need to have your situation assessed based on the specifics of your circumstances in order to ascertain whether or not the Stimulus Check and the stimulus funds apply to you. Certain people who make a certain amount of money in yearly income may not be eligible for it. Again, you need to have your situation assessed in order to understand whether or not you will be eligible for it.
