As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing US-Thai Treaty of Amity companies and processing and incorporating those companies in 2023. So what are we talking about here? 

Well for those who are unaware, pursuant to the terms the US-Thai Treaty of Amity, it is possible for an American citizen or an American Company to do business in Thailand with 100% ownership. Notwithstanding the provisions of the Foreign Business Act, it is possible to do such business in Thailand if that company is certified as American under the US-Thai Treaty of Amity. Then that company will be granted what's called national treatment, it will do business in much the same way that a Thai company would do business here in Thailand.

Now, the question posed by this video, do I see anything really changing with that in 2023? Well when you think about the fact that there was recently a joint communiqué between the Governments of both Thailand and the United States which reaffirmed the Treaty back in 2022, or I should say in 2022 because we are still in 2022 at the time of this video, yeah I don't really think it is very probable to think that we are going to see any major changes with respect to the Treaty of Amity and I especially don't think we're going to see anything with regard to changes pertaining to national treatment being granted to American citizens looking to do business here in the Kingdom of Thailand.
