Thai 2025 Corporate Tax Filings Filed in 2026?

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing Corporate Tax here in Thailand. We are sort of a turnkey firm if you will, especially for foreigners looking to come to Thailand and obtain long-term Visa status as well as long-term Work Permit status, and we assist a number of clients on a yearly basis in obtaining both Work Permits and Visas.

An integral part of the process of obtaining a Work Permit and extending a Work Permit and Business Visa is taxes. And Corporate Tax filings, periodic Corporate Tax filings specifically, yearly audited financial statements, balance sheets, as well as the semi-annual audit and filing, are associated with anything having to do with extension of Business Visa and Work Permit status. So dealing with Corporate Tax filing is extremely important not only just from a legal standpoint because it's a legal requirement if you have a company in Thailand, but if you are a foreign national who's utilizing a company to maintain a Work Permit and Business Visa, they are exceptionally important because you need them and you need proof of them and proof that they have been filed on an ongoing basis in order to file for and ultimately achieve extension of status under Business Visa and Work Permit status here in Thailand. So the thing to take away from this video and understand is Work Permits and Business Visas are predicated on tax filings. Thai Corporate Tax filings, a complex endeavour in their own right, are dealt with on a yearly basis as well as there is a semi-annual component in terms of filing. And those who wish to maintain a corporation in Thailand, as well as those foreigners who wish to maintain Business Visa and Work Permit status on an ongoing basis are going to need to deal with that.

Now understanding, that folks will probably, especially foreign nationals are probably going to find matters pertaining to Thai Taxes generally and Thai Corporate Taxes specifically especially onerous, especially if there is a language barrier between one's native language and the Thai language. That being said, for those who feel overwhelmed, it may not be a terrible idea to contact a legal professional, gain some insight and guidance into how best to proceed.
