The Royal Thai Embassy in the Hague, the Netherlands

Transcript of the above video:

As the title of this video suggests, we are discussing the Royal Thai Embassy in The Hague, Netherlands and the address of that post is:

Royal Thai Embassy,
Laan Copes van Cattenburch 123,
2585 EZ S’ Gravenhage, Netherlands.

The telephone number is (+31) 70 345 9703 or alternatively (+ 31) 70 345 0766. Forgive me to any Dutch viewers if I butchered the pronunciation on that name. We went ahead and put the address up in the video so you can see it.

We make these videos for prospective Thai Visa seekers. These videos are being made in a sense as kind of a courtesy to folks who are saying  “I need to go apply for a Visa at this given post.” They see this video hopefully they will see the address, they will see the telephone number and it will provide some insight to them.

Another thing to keep in mind with respect to this is that different posts, even different posts within a given mission, so for example the Thai mission to the Netherlands, the Embassy may do things differently from the Consulate for example in Amsterdam. It may not be a huge differences. The body of law pertaining to Thai visas is rather uniform and rather consistently applied but different posts have slightly different ways of doing things in a protocol sense and they also may have slightly different ways of doing things with respect to administrative processing. Finally with respect to evidentiary thresholds they just may view one set of evidence is being more compelling than another. It just it kind of varies a little bit; it is not a lot but just a little bit.

The other thing to understand is different posts including different missions abroad as well as different posts within a given mission may have different consular jurisdiction with respect to the categories of Visa which those posts are allowed to issue as well as the validity of the underlying Visa associated with that category.

For those who feel a little bit overwhelmed about dealing with the Thai Visa process, it made not be a terrible idea to go ahead and contact a legal professional in order to gain some insight and guidance into how best to proceed.
